The moon was rising
Above the rooftop
Rising above the trees
Its brilliance is hazily beautiful
Even though someone
Something
Has taken a scoop
From the moon again?
No worries…
The moon is gracious
It gives of itself
Until it is no more
But returns again
Bright in the sky
With it’s borrowed light
Ready to become full again
To give again
Then to leave, for a moment
Again

Loved the middle section:"Even though someoneSomethingHas taken a scoopFrom the moon again?No worries…The moon is graciousIt gives of itselfUntil it is no more"Couple of things…"It's brilliance" should be "its brilliance." 'It's' is the contraction of it is, so "it is brilliance" makes no sense.Also you start out in passive past tense then switch to passive present tense. What if you switched to active present tense – this would draw the reader in even more.
