The Conqueror

I was desolate in battle when the conqueror came
Deep in solitude of emptiness
In need of repair
The battlefield was harsh in bitterness
Strewn across in battle, my emotions
Defeat came to my threshold wanting in
Still fighting on the field the conqueror fought
Standing tall and abreast with victory intent
Leaving desolation, solitude, emptiness
They lay behind and at its feet
Unable to stand against the conqueror

Bitterness staged to reinforce
The conqueror would have none of this
Pounding with every beat
The conqueror thrashed bitterness to nothing
Lifted I was by the conqueror
I felt its warmth beam through me to repair
Damage from the battle fading to forgetfulness
To the forefront the conqueror prevailed
Newness restored to my heart
The conqueror came to me in battle
The conqueror that is true love

What Does Your Heart Say?

The question is in your mind

Knowest thou the answer in thy heart?

Over and over the question plays like a song

Lyrics strum across thy heart with sweet melody

You become lost in thought by the beat

Wrapping yourself with your arms

Just the thought of me

Feeling me in the rhythm

Your heart beats the melody

Still you wonder

Why hast thou resisted in your mind?

When you are lost at sea in me

Craving my presence at the dawn of day

To the dreams of your sleep

So many questions, I do understand

Lest the falling is deep, that is love

Understand I do ~ but

What does your heart say?

Hear me from afar as too my heart sings

I too have the strumming of music within

I dance within my being, longing to hold you

I think not of love with my mind

For my heart resonates to the pitch

Earth shattering quakes it beats

Coming forth from my chest

Containment almost impossible

I need your hand to stay my heart

Hear the explosions as they make way

Steady me to comfort I ask

Acknowledge I do what is in my heart

I Find Comfort In You

There are moments when sadness overshadows

When life’s journey renders turbulence

Try as I might alone to my dismayed accomplishment

To conquer the flush of discouragement

This is when I find comfort in you

Your labor of love relinquishes my agony

The resting of your head to mine stills me

My breath of exhale is extinguished by your kiss

And I look into eyes that speak to me~fear not

The rush of my heartbeat slows to your touch

Your peace encompasses any grief lingered

Restoration is come to me

As the sun begins its rise above the horizon

Awaken thine eyes and dance with me

The leaves of trees will applaud with appreciation

As branches sway in the breeze that is gentle

Dance with me as morning birds sing

Wondrously grateful for the dawn

Lifting their voices to the heavens

As the sky is filled throughout, with the cover of clouds

Bringing sounds that thunder as lightning strikes

As heavy rain abundantly falls, dance with me

Til we are wet as that which the rain has covered

My love, my sweet sweet love

Dance with me

The sky clears, revealing its color of blue

High now is the sun’s warmth to dry that which is moistened

Dance with me through the heat of the afternoon

As the squirrels scurry to gather

And insects make haste in their doings

Dance to the stroke of my hand

Gentle down the center of thy chest

Overwhelmed in intoxicated ecstasy

Dance with me, dance with me

The sun has set upon the ocean’s seas

The coolness of the night has come

The sights of lighted bugs breaks the darkness

Sounds of the night is nature’s music

Dance with me to the sights and sounds

As I hold you close to no separation

Wanting nothing between us ~ yes, nothing

We can dance til exhausted pleasure overcomes

Where sleep will soon capture our eyes

And rest will overtake our bodies

As I am mirrored, I see not myself

I see your smile that is not, but is

The sparkle that glistens as the reflected sun

What Time Is It?

As the sun rises to beginning of day

I wonder, What time is it?

How do I say what is in my heart

What has been said time and again

Do you tire to hear what has been

Are your ears aching for newness?

Does the warmth of my breath excite you still?

Do you long for my touch softly?

The chill of thy skin speaks to me, yes

Your ear close to my lips says speak

You say to me soft spoken, my name

Gentle as the morning dew

Embrace we do in kisses of fire

Arousal, as this rising sun awakens the day

Questions that had me in wonderment

At this moment, it matters not

Be My Valentine?

On this day many hearts do the flutter

Setting aside all sorts of clutter

When I’m done, I’ll ask the question

But first I gotta know, are you the one?

We can go to dinner and have eat

Afterward you can rub my feet

But before we leave there

I must let you know and share

I may get gassy and just might fart

Not to worry though, to give you a start

The place will be full you see

No one will know who the culprit may be

Oh yeah, one more thing in a crowd

If I do belch, that could be real loud

I hope this won’t dissuade you one bit

You and I? I’m sure we’re a good fit

To the movie after dinner we dash

You can pay here, I’m running short on cash

I know you want to watch something romantic

Now don’t go nuts on me and get all frantic

I was looking for guns, bombs and such

I don’t think I’m asking for much

What an evening it will be, such a treat

Now it’s time, you didn’t forget my feet?

There is more I could share

I’m not sure you could bare

Knowing how exciting it can be

The fun you will have with me

Girl I know you’re out there looking fine

Your Eyes

When I look to you

Your eyes do not rest

But sees deep through to me

Massaging my heart to beats

My chest struggles to keep mine heart within

Wanting to escape it’s cavity for pounding

Your eyes rest not

But burns to my loins with want of you

Lifting me to elevated anticipation

Draw you, close to me

My hand lay in the depth of your back

Yours upon my chest

As if to calm the beat of my heart

My breath is exhaled in pleasureful sighs

As your eyes of sensuality rips to my soul

Sparing not to dissuade me

You look not away

For the pleasure in your eyes

Drains me from resistance

The explosion of love in your eyes

Captivates me in your gaze to which

I find myself in your chamber of love

A wanting prisoner, in your eyes
