See Things For What They Can Be

Misty

Is it in the early of the day?

The center of time which dissects the whole?

Maybe the dark of the night where light is deep

In the far reaches of the universes

It matters not when the mist is made known

Or the ingredients that causes this event

As in the laughter of children at play

The loss of one loved so deep

Viewing a moment as the heart swells

And the mind absorbs all that is before you

Overflowing with emotions want to express

These are eyes that do not run as the falls

But wet just enough, to become misty

Where Art Thou?

Findest thine the soul of self
Buried in dept of solitudes
Where thou art in peace of mind
Tranquil to heart’s beat to life

The somber breeze passes not
Yet restest upon thine being
As forest’s leaves sing praise
Symphonic in combined pieces

From the moon to stars
The outers of space
Crickets chirp to night’s delight
To darkness that is truly not

Ocean’s seas pondereth waves
To orchestrate a solstice peace
Yet another player for thine
To bury thyself in solitudes grace

JOURNEY ON

I have traveled the outer of space

I have seen the thoughts of my mind

I have marveled that which has come

I have been saddened by what is missed

Time has stopped for moments it seems

Time has ticked the clock

Time waits for none, this truth

Time envelopes me to bondage

The waters rush to waves pounding

The waters cleanse to refreshing

The waters trickle to dripping motion

The waters still to lifelessness

Journey to travel for mind’s sake

Journey to want in need

Journey to accomplish for goals

Journey on, most of all, journey on

How Life Is

From time to time, my eyes search the skies

If I bend an ear, I can hear the cries

It is for me to wonder, as I am perplexed

How life is at times, as real as it gets

The violence and anger portrayed day to day

It is for revenge, it is for justice some say

I am truely beholden, this way that I live

It is but one life given, for me to give

Round and round, the cycle of life bestows

Like our earth, round the sun it goes

Event after one, another continues onward

You would think lessons learned, from outside inward

Time goes by round the world as it turns

The violence unending as hearts fire burns

Is it for justice? Is it peace?

I continue to wonder, will it ever, ever cease

Love’s Piece Is Love’s Peace

Love’s piece cannot define that which it exhibits with love’s peace

Love is by the worth it gives as receiving to love

Smoldering hearts heated cores to burn for love

Sensations to ends of nerves endings heightened

Yet be it exuberance, to still the senses to pause, reflections

Away From You

Away From You

You Came To Me

You came to me as a lamb, gentle

Whispering the desires of my heart

Shown to me as glittering array

Beckoning my soul to gather

You came to me, soft as silk

Soothing to my heart you came

Melting me to submissiveness

You came to me the lioness

Strong in loving ways, a fortress

Withstanding the elements of hindrance

Casting all aside this way and that

You came to me electric

Lighting my heart to a revival’s beat

Static~like with no friction

The flow of current run steadfast

You came to me as a waterfall

Overflowing to a mist refreshing

Washing my stained memories to nothing

A cleansing unfathomable

You came to me purposeful

Knowing only to unselfishly give

To fill a void of destitution

With all that you had, you came to me

Can You Feel My Words?

Words spoken, travel through the air alive

Bringing told truth into your mind

As I speak of my love for you

Can you feel my words as they travel?

Do your eardrums tingle as chimes on a string?

Spreading across the land for all to ear?

Can you feel my words to sweet caress?

As the softness of butterflies flutter?

Tender as untouched dew of morning?

Can you feel my words as kindle to fire?

Does your heart burn as a heated furnace?

Will you embrace this truth that crosses my lips?

I need more than just to be heard

I need you to feel my words

Will you? ~ no~ Can you feel my words?

The Conqueror

I was desolate in battle when the conqueror came
Deep in solitude of emptiness
In need of repair
The battlefield was harsh in bitterness
Strewn across in battle, my emotions
Defeat came to my threshold wanting in
Still fighting on the field the conqueror fought
Standing tall and abreast with victory intent
Leaving desolation, solitude, emptiness
They lay behind and at its feet
Unable to stand against the conqueror

Bitterness staged to reinforce
The conqueror would have none of this
Pounding with every beat
The conqueror thrashed bitterness to nothing
Lifted I was by the conqueror
I felt its warmth beam through me to repair
Damage from the battle fading to forgetfulness
To the forefront the conqueror prevailed
Newness restored to my heart
The conqueror came to me in battle
The conqueror that is true love
