My current project is due to noise I had been hearing from my front end while driving. After examination I narrowed it down to the outside tie-rod end on the driver’s side.
After I finished I took for a spin and the noise is gone, it handles better and now I have to get a wheel alignment.
A expected project done unexpectedly.

If you read my post not long ago about the two nails I had in my tires, my daughter was here a few days after that and they had a slow leak in their left front tire. I took a look see and lo and behold…
So I go to work.

A popup rain storm is one that is not predicted by the weather personnel. When the conditions are right, they just appear. The lightning strikes, the thunder, the high winds and of course the rain.
Yes storms can do damage that can be costly, but they can also be beneficial. Breaking lose dead tree branches, clearing the air of pollen and pollution.
When the storm is over and the damages are assessed, it can’t be denied that everything looks cleaner, refreshing and you can smell it in the air.
I guess it can be said that storms in our lives serve the same purpose even if we don’t see it that way. It is not pleasant to be caught in a rain storm without shelter of any kind and the same can be said for the storms that develop in our lives. But how can anyone deny that once our life storm passes, we feel refreshed and stronger….triumphant.
Do I welcome or seek these storms into my life?….no way! But I cannot deny that it is a good feeling when all is said and done.
I have decided…at the last minute…to transfer my domain, WhatrUWorkinOn.com to WordPress.
Overall I think the switch will be better than I realize. This gives me a bit more flexibility with all that I have planned.
I will be updating the site over time and will also be introducing services I will have available locally…here in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area…and also online with my CafePress Store.

The last thing I said in yesterday’s post was, what to do…what to do. I guess never giving up is one thing. When I got home from work, TheWife and I talked. It had nothing to do with what I have been posting about but it was talk that made me feel as if there is hope.
That’s the amazing thing about life….you never know what to expect at times. There were no fireworks, flashing lights or anything like that. It was as simple as can be, but it was genuine. I soaked it up like a sponge. I’m not saying that this is the beginning of what I have been hoping for….what I am saying is there was something in the air…it felt good.
What we did talk about had a lot to do with the future. We watched TV had some laughs and talked a bit more in between.
It’s not much, but….It’s A Start.
I love working with the software I use to create my designs. It is older software and I recently purchased an upgraded version of the software. Honestly?….I like the older one better. But, saving the file in a format other than that strictly for the software, renders the printed copy jagged around the edges…fonts included.
I have copies printed in the format from the software and thought I could scan them, upload them and save them in different formats to see what I get.
One problem…after upgrading to Windows 7 Home Premium, my scanner is dead in the sea. I even tried compatibility mode under several different flavors without success.
I tried copying the clip art from the old to the new before editing but after performing even the smallest re-size, it starts to distort. I’m messing around with designing another logo with the newer software, but I’m not happy with the arrow selection and the fact that I can’t edit the color as with the older one. Using the newer software, I lose the question mark from this design.
What makes this design unique in my eyes IS the question mark. The ability to edit the arrows is a very big plus.
I have a few more ideas but it requires the use of a scanner.

Who likes surprises, who likes surprises!?!? I think we can all admit that a good surprise is always welcome at our doorstep. How many times have we found ourselves giving a pop upside of our own head, and then have a giggle or two. Have you been in a situation where you were about to showoff something in front of friends and you didn’t practice your routine and you find that instead of the wows and aaahhhs you get the giggles and laughter? Now the laughter has settled and everyone says they will check it out later your all alone and FINALLY the routine falls into place without a hitch……you giggle again……at yourself.
